INBOX CODE

All characters should have an inbox post on their journal in order to facilitate one-on-one communication. Inbox threads can be used for activity.

Character inboxes can utilize the secure, private network provided by Morningstar, or the general internet. This means that text, picture, video, audio and virtual reality communication can all be used on character inboxes. However, characters should keep in mind that video, audio and virtual reality communication will not be as secure - they may want to be careful what they say when using these options.

Character usernames are the name Morningstar uses to create their new ID in this world. They are locked to your character's neural implant, and linked to absolutely everything they do. While characters are totally free to give Morningstar a fake name, they will then be stuck with this name permanently. Characters with only one name will be asked to choose a second one to complete their ID. A full explanation on character ID names can be found HERE in our FAQ.

Please use the code below in order to post the inbox coding to your character journal, completing it with a userpic of your choosing and your character's ID name in firstname.lastname format.

This inbox code has been adapted from pagan's low light code.

Characters can also use the @ function to mention one another with their usernames in public posts. Since Dreamwidth does not provide notifications, players can drop their own in the inbox of the character they're notifying in the thread.
