Taking a hiatus exempts you from one AC round in advance, as long as it is submitted before that AC round starts. Retroactive hiatuses are not accepted. Consecutive hiatuses and consecutive hiatuses and strikes are not accepted. Your AC exemption is entire, and does not require you to respond to the respective AC round at all.

You can choose to have your character on autopilot for all of your hiatus, or you can also have them mysteriously vanish at some point unobserved. For people who take the latter option: upon returning to the game, characters will wake up in their bed with no memory of where they have been. Feel free to use this disappearance and the upheaval it causes to change up things for your character! Or they could simply have some friends hold down the fort for them while they're gone. It's up to you!

For a day after returning, characters will experience a dull burning sensation across their chest.

> DROP

Dropped characters will default to vanishing at some point unobserved. Alternatively, players can opt their character for permakilling, and the mods will facilitate as soon as possible.

Please note that if you permakill your character, you will not be able to reapp them.
