THE STORY SO FAR
> JUNE 21, 2511 (ARRIVAL 001)
◉ A bus full of nurses, guards, and "patients" (Displaced) ends up being stopped by the rebel organization Morningstar. Nearly everyone on site—guards, nurses, and rebel agents—ends up dead.
◉ Morningstar got intel that this bus was a weapons shipment to the UNA. This was proven false. The shipment is actually the Displaced.
◉ The Displaced are taken to a Morningstar safehouse, where they're housed with other Morningstar refugees. When they arrive, they find Gaby (vns) and receive a message from El (
mrngstr).
◉ Within 12 hours, all remnants of this bus attack were removed.

> JUNE 2511 CALENDAR (AUGUST 2018 CALENDAR)
> JUNE 27, 2511 (EVENT 001)
◉ In the early hours of June 27th, citizens of New Amsterdam feel a seismic disruption in the city. At first, it's thought to be a bizarre earthquake like the one that hit the world in September 2510.
◉ Surprise! It's not an earthquake, it's a monster that is 400m high that's attacking the outside wall of the city.. Before long, it enters the city, and it starts "shedding" golden-eyed creatures. Nothing like this is seen again for several months.
◉ Due to the proximity to the monster's entry, the safehouse where the Displaced and refugees are being held is compromised. Luckily for them, Gaby leads everyone out across the city to a new safehouse underneath an abandoned grocery store.
◉ The Displaced gather guns and weapons from downed police officers, and come up with a plan to take down the Big One. The plan? Fill up a car with explosives, fly it into its mouth, and set it off.
◉ It works! But social media aspects of this are censored by the New Amsterdam Police Department in order to conceal vigilante activity.
◉ DNA tests into these monsters reveal that they're made up of all different types of DNA merged together. For some time, there is no sign of these creatures until mid-to-late November when the Displaced come across some more back-to-back: some creatures within a facility (the 12th arrival) and some creatures outside—all with yellow eyes.
◉ In the aftermath, people hoard monster parts to sell them on the Black Market, or buy them off the Black Market to experiment. Some of these parts are later used to produce vengeance drugs.

◉ Rebuilding of the city is underway.
◉ The monster carcass sits in the city, with lots of tents set up to investigate it. These tents belong to the major corporations.
◉ Chief of Police makes it clear that they don't know the source of these monsters.
> JULY 4, 2511 (ARRIVAL 002)
◉ Surprisingly, another batch of newcomers is dropped off near a bunch of shelters that were put up in the aftermath of the monster attacks.
◉ Now aware that these dropoffs might be happening regularly, El makes arrangements to move the native refugees out of New Amsterdam utilizing the hole in the city wall. Any Displaced who have joined Morningstar (of their own free will) are invited to help with the excursion.

◉ City rebuilding work is still underway.
◉ Monster carcass remains, with citizens advised to stay away from it.
◉ Repairs to the wall begin, and the hole becomes a construction site of its own.
◉ Two border guards reported as dead from the Morningstar excursion. NAPD fingers the "dangerous criminal organization known as Morningstar" as being responsible for their deaths.
> JULY 18, 2511 (ARRIVAL 003)
◉ Third batch of new arrivals. They're dropped off at a cybernetic modifications festival that's held in the underground tunnel part of New Amsterdam.
◉ Prior to the pick up and during the drop-off, one of the nurses salutes one of the many city cameras, showing his face in the process. This leads to a string of unexpected events.

◉ After hunting down the nurse, El contacts the Displaced to send them in the direction of the nurse's apartment building. Upon arrival, the Displaced find that his apartment building has been set on fire.
◉ The nurse was killed prior to this arson.
◉ Many of the Displaced, eager to help the people inside of the building, head inside and inhale a great deal of smoke.

◉ About a week after the apartment fire, several New Amsterdam citizens start to show signs of sickness. Before long, this sickness evolves from nausea and fatigue to driving the citizens to perform acts of rage and vengeance. This vengeance ranges from verbal altercations to lofty plans of grandeur.
◉ The only people who can stop this sickness are the Displaced. They can heal the affected by touching them for five minutes. This leads to an array of feelings and emotions (first: burning pain, and then: euphoria followed by a great sadness).
◉ Not every person is healed and some end up hospitalized, but later these people are healed by an eager team of Displaced.

◉ Due to extreme heat in the city, water rationing goes into effect.
◉ The increase of heat leads to a terrible smell from the rotting carcass in the heart of the city. By August 7th, the monster is broken up and sent to different labs around the world.
◉ The wall around New Amsterdam is now fully repaired.
◉ First signs of social media discontent over how Governor Gill-Jade is handling the water rationing and housing crisis following the monster attacks in New Amsterdam.
◉ Investigation into 41st Street fire continues, and the New Amsterdam Center for Disease Control investigates both the sick and the site of the fire itself.
> AUGUST 4, 2511 (AUGUST 004)

◉ Governor Gill-Jade puts out a notice requesting that all monster carcasses are turned in or deposited at safe sites.
◉ Thanks to efforts from the Displaced, every sick person in the hospital is now healed.
◉ Due to the uptick of people experiencing heat exhaustion and dehydration, Governor Gill-Jade establishes a task force to help the citizens forced into tent cities so that they can return to their homes.
> AUGUST 23-30 2511 (ARRIVAL 005)
◉ Once a year, the Insomniacs' Ball is the place to be in New Amsterdam. Highly exclusive, anyone looking for an invite will find a hard time getting one to get inside. Invites are handed out based on certain displays on social media. The Ball is a place for a lot of revelry of all kinds.
◉ This is where the newest batch of arrivals are being released.
◉ Uniquely, there are people marked with sacred geometry and tattoos working the doors of the Ball itself.
◉ Trying to gain the attention of the mysterious proprietor, four of the Displaced stand out the most to get what seems to be invites for next year: Clarke Griffin, Markus, Loki, and Ojiro Sniper.

◉ The Displaced also retrieve a weapons cache from the base that's kept under lock and key.
◉ All predesignated safehouses around the city are utilized during this operation, leading to their decommission afterward. This event also eliminates Morningstar's presence in New Amsterdam beyond the Displaced, El, and Gaby.
◉ Strange utilizes his powers to reveal that the UNA soldiers act almost as a dangerous hivemind that makes them difficult to defeat.

◉ An EMP hits New Amsterdam, wiping out around 100,000 people due to hover cars and other vehicles plummeting from the sky into the city below. Due to a virus unleashed at the same time, citizens in New Amsterdam are cut off from the rest of the world and forced to fend for themselves.
◉ Some people—Displaced and native engineers—work together to revive the environmental control pyramid outside of the city to help stabilize the world's environment.
◉ An AI by the name of DAWN claims credit for the event. He later reveals himself to now be named Cassius, and he outs El as another AI.
◉ Displaced Morningstar agents capture and interrogate a UNA soldier and accidentally botch the entire operation, leaving the soldier's neural implant intact so the recordings of his interrogation can be uploaded to UNA servers once everything is back online. This leads to the UNA actively conflating the "blue glow" of the Displaced with Morningstar, describing that glow as unknown Morningstar technology. That soldier is reported dead.
◉ The Insomniacs' Ball proprietor meets with Loki, Markus, Ojiro Sniper, and Clarke Griffin to tell them that they've been god-touched and that's why they're in this world.

◉ Within Zerzura, there is a conflict between Zerzuran leaders and a rebel organization named Nautilus: the leaders want to save Zerzura and sacrifice the outside world, and Nautilus, believing Zerzura to be a lie, wants it to be destroyed.
◉ Many Displaced begin to slip into a fantasy in Zerzura as if they were there all along. Unaffected Displaced are tasked with the job to save them.
◉ Zerzura is ultimately saved (along with the outside world), though many Displaced try to end the city because of the fantasy it forced them into. The people who saved Zerzura end up temporarily sacrificing themselves in the process.
◉ In the aftermath, new plants began to grow wildly in New Amsterdam (and won't be stopping anytime soon), and the characters unlock new abilities: union attacks, memory sharing (via touch), chest objects, and regular dreamsharing. ◉ Afterward, the results show that the Displaced have no biological anomalies (at least among those that volunteered). In addition, they received a name that's responsible for why they're in this world: James Henries.

◉ Water rationing goes into effect, and with it, New Amsterdam prepares to flip its daily schedule to running business during the evening hours.
◉ The Displaced, fronted by Clarke Griffin and Stephen Strange, come out as a united entity associated with their bar, Red Wings. Numerous politicians come out either in support or against the Displaced. Most notably, the New Amsterdam governorship is for them, while the UN is against them. Wonder why?
◉ The Displaced start to be colloquially known as the Red Wings.
◉ The Outlaws gang seems to quietly pass in ownership over to Simone Durcell.
◉ There are results for the Riverstone experiments.
> JULY 22, 2512 (ARRIVAL 027)
◉ The Displaced are dropped off at the same time as a singing competition comes to town. The number one aim? To get one of the Displaced, or more of the Displaced, to volunteer!
◉ In general, the showrunners seem to really want the Displaced to show up for this contest.
◉ Oh, and they start selling merchandise associated with Displaced things. Good thing someone's ready to work out a deal with them.

◉ All of the Earthside population is brought into an alternate reality called the Aerie.
◉ The Aerie, fairly bird-themed in nature, was a world where a set of humans saved humanity by chaining a group of gods and harnessing their power for centuries.
◉ The world they created was overpopulated, so after a while, they started culling people through monthly battle royale events called the Quarry.
◉ After a while, a rebel group called the Kestrels rose up to challenge the norms of this world, and especially the hold of the ruling class (known as Parliament).
◉ During the most recent Quarry event, the Kestrels strike, killing people in both the arena and the compound where Parliament lived. Many people died.
◉ As the world of the Aerie started to unravel, the people still inside of that alternate world dealt with a question—free the gods or keep them chained to prolong life there?
◉ At the same time, a number of people inside of the Aerie started to die, waking up in reality again.
◉ And some woke up on the moon, newcomers to this world (with one returning). There, they met the man responsible for them being in this world: Jimmy Henries.
◉ Eventually, the Aerie came to a close with the gods freed. What will it mean for reality?
