PLOT ENGAGEMENT COMPANION

> PLOT ENGAGEMENT COMPANION

This page acts as a companion page to the Plot Engagement post. It'll be a player-maintained page for Meadowlark, and the hope is that everything here will be easier to track and follow as Meadowlark progresses. Since most important information will be compiled here, we recommend that you track this page instead of plot engagement!

To drop information below, please use the handy form we've provided! Our hope with the link is that people will be able to see the context for the question that they've asked!

URL OF COMMENT: Group plot engagement comment re: investigating the site of the fire, sampling debris, talking to landlords, and visiting the morgue
RELEVANT INFORMATION:
— BOBBI MORSE uses her powers to question a fireman at the scene who "would tell her that they believe the fire started at the nurse's apartment, and the man was found dead inside. They do not yet know the cause of death. They are considering the fire itself suspicious, and will be doing a full investigation as soon as the building is safe."
— KYLO REN questions residents of the apartment building and scopes out the criminal perspective on the incident. RE: Residents, he learns that few neighbors recall the nurse and don't remember anything strange about that day other than the fire. RE: General and criminal opinions, he learns "that most think it's strange that all the chaos was caused by people who lived there, and wonder if there was any weapon deployed. Otherwise, they'll be irritated that news outlets tried to suggest that anyone from one of the big crime organizations would even dare to do something like that."
— BOBBI MORSE & LEO FITZ test samples of those affected and cured during the outbreak that followed the fire, finding DNA signifiers shared with the monsters in the affected sample and surge of white blood cells in the cured sample.
— LEO FITZ & KYLO REN test samples of residue found on the debris at the site of the fire; the residue shares DNA signifiers with the monsters
— LEO FITZ investigates AJJ Holdings and learns "the nurse's existence was completely erased... no records of his recent rent payments, his rental application, or anything else. That someone's records have been wiped like this would be extremely unusual, and AJJ would honestly be a little freaked out and inclined to believe the man was never a tenant in the first place, as that would be a more comfortable reality."
— LEO FITZ, BOBBI MORSE, & MARCOS DIAZ interrogate the morgue attendants and learn the following.
- Neural IDs survive burning and are used to identify corpses.
- The nurse's body is retrieved from the morgue by "the NAFD" the morning after the fire.
- BOBBI uses her ability when speaking to the morgue technicians, learning "that the people who collected the body were a group of three, two men and a woman, all in nondescript suits, with IDs declaring them to be NAFD Forensics. However, when they check the log, they will find no record of the collection or the examination. The technicians will be very unsettled by this, and grow quite skittish, but with Bobbi's ability still coaxing them to talk, will tell them that the examination found the cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head, happening prior to the fire."
All of these findings are recorded in IC posts from @leo.fitz, @katelin.philips, and @daisy.johnson.
