hi mods! a couple quick questions for you off of this thread with clarke!
› if daisy was to future!google the longitude & latitude clarke provides, would the building or specific location provided come up with anything specific? if it's a specific building, would she be able to find out any interesting details about it (the ownership, what kind of business is done there if any, urban legends, etc)? › if i'm remembering correctly, facial recognition technology is already deployed in new amsterdam, and would likely fall under vyonation's purview. if daisy tried to pull a search using vyonation resources to match the face clarke draws to a name, would she be successful? would this set off any flags at work or cause any repercussions for her? › also, not totally related to this thread but something i've wondered about for a while: how feasible is leisure travel for the displaced? is it "plane tickets might be 100 bucks or 300 bucks depending on when you buy" expensive, or is it "save up your whole life for a week in fiji" expensive? do you need a visa to go from megacity to megacity? what kind of processes are there -- for example, do you have to have an interview with customs & border control to "declare intent", or can you simply buy a ticket and show your passport at the border? (if i'm missing info that's already posted somewhere, my apologies!)
