This all sounds grand! Re: V’s movement, he can still walk without his cane, he just moves a bit (read: a lot) more slowly without it. That being said, he would still be actively searching for someone to give him answers, and it would be simple enough for him to spot an officer patrolling and try to stop them for questions, OR making a show of himself by stumbling around or into people if things get rowdy. There might be a clearer idea of how this happens when the log goes up, but these are the most likely scenarios for now.

And a separate log would be fantastic!

As for the rest, I’m all on board for an open-ended continuation of this particular plot! If you need me to write/incorporate anything specific in his top level when the intro log goes up, just let me know and I’ll plan for it ahead of time!
