There will definitely be some very minor roughing up. The goons and the capo will be wary of teaching him a full lesson because they're not sure exactly what he's capable of, so Nate will just leave with a few scuffs and bruises.
There'd be some interest in Nate's recruitment, but the Riverside mob would want to know what he's looking for in return. No one does anything for free, and they're very aware of that. That means if Nate was out to be noticed, he must have wanted something. What would he tell them in this case, or what would he give away? Given his answer, he would be recruited under the current capo at the casino as a "test." Nate will have to begin to prove both his worth and his loyalty. He'll be working at the casino two nights a week, still as an undercover player, but essentially working for the house.
Let us know how you'd like to move forward in this case! What he would want from the Riverside mob, and how he'd be conducting himself at the casino!
