That sounds really gross. Since acid only will dissolve the fleshy bits, he'll still have the bones and teeth to contend with as well. There won't be any implant or trackers in her skin, but there will still be DNA that could possibly be traced back. The investigation is ongoing, and Aoi's husband, Jun, is very tenacious. While the police might not make much headway with the slew of responsibilities that they currently are dealing with, Jun's hired detectives will be able to make some headway on the movement of the DNA, especially if Jason takes Aoi's arm to Damian.
There won't be any outright involvement with law enforcement, because the evidence that Jun has is flimsy at best, but it will be enough to convince him of something suspicious. While Aoi was definitely the backbone of their relationship, Jun will hold on to his wife's legacy. He may suspect both Jason's and Damian's involvement, but instead of outright confronting them, he'll be more interested in drawing them out. He'll begin to focus on Displaced-centered places, including Red Wings. There may be some (not very subtle) surveillance out on them.
Let us know what Damian plans on doing with Maeda's arm, and how Mason may follow-up with Hideki!
Durcell's response will come down from one of their mercenaries, but they'll be willing to negotiate a meeting.
