So, that whole run in with Maeda has made Kate curious about how widespread this issue is, as in, how many players of Maeda's social class are manipulating the fighting rings and underground, and how common it is for them to retaliate in such violent ways. Basically, she wants to dig in more to how much corruption there is among the rich jerks of New Amsterdam, and how much it affects "normal" people or the less powerful.
Considering the Maeda thing went so south, she'll want to be much more careful about investigating this, so what's the best route for her to take? Would talking to Gaby help, or could she find out more or build connections among those people through the customers that come to her coffee shop? Any young heirs she can charm or befriend? I'm open to pretty much anything!
I don't want this to be focused on Maeda specifically, though, since I don't want to step on Jessi's toes!
