As far as Remy goes, the suggestion will alert Riverstone enough that they will start pivoting their research along to Jyn's line of questioning, looking at specific dates. So, while Remy may buy that, the Riverstone upper management will not.
Let us know if there's any additional information that you'd like here as it comes up. With Jyn's new occupation, she's going to have a few more resources. That said, that doesn't mean that she might not be watched more closely!
