There will be a period of 3 months IC (6 months OOC) that he'll have to train, though Dick's experience means that he can get done in half the time due to the NAPD's desperation for new officers in the field. Feel free to make up a cop buddy for him and let us know what you'd like to name them. Or, if you'd rather, we could name them, too!
