Because they're dense, they would, within reason, maintain their resilience and increased strength, so long as the strength itself does not come from the Odinforce, which they'll be completely cut off from. In order to maintain this resilience and increased strength, they'll have to make up for the increased metabolism and eat quite a lot, or they eventually won't be able to maintain such a large, dense body with ease or without expending a great deal of energy.
