Question about implants: this character has a piece of AI technology in her, called the Flame. Here's a wiki link if necessary. Or just to highlight:
"It is a passive artificial intelligence that merges with an organic brain via the brainstem, and shares and stores information. The Flame produces a projected consciousness that takes on the form of past Commanders, which is where the 'Spirit of the Commanders' comes from. Through these projections, the current Commander is given guidance and memories are shared."
Is this something Lexa would keep, or would it be removed from her? It's a passive ability, and there's not much information on the previous Commanders themselves, so I don't see it as something that would actively occupy a large part of Lexa's personal narrative. I'm not actually certain how much it would harm her to have it physically removed, however, I believe I can also take her from a specific canon point to circumvent this issue if the Flame wouldn't be allowed (or, on second thought, it could just be inert/disabled somehow - whatever is preferable).
