hi mods! prospective applicant here with a quick and possibly nerve-induced question:

i saw some answers re: existing/"essential" cybernetic equipment here and here - but had a slightly different case i wanted to ask about. puppy is one of those silly old faceless protagonists in his canon, equipped with a cybernetic faceplate/helmet that displays visuals and 'mood lighting' appropriate for his setting.

it's not clear whether or not this helmet is essential for medical reasons?? by canon itself (heavy cyberpunk, body modification, organ farming, etc.) it could very well be, but creators have neither confirmed nor denied. would he be able to keep it, to maintain the whole faceless vibe he's got?
