Hi Tifa!

1. While all information would be accessible via a neural implant, the specific corporate servers would give permissions and access to their users based on their location. For instance, a doctor would not be able to take information home, and neither would an employee for one of the larger companies. Employees can receive special permissions regarding this, but it would be difficult. However, servers aren't typically located "on site" and are much smaller and more discreet than how they are today.

2. All responses to the Plot Engagement post are considered general knowledge unless it involves a specific set of questions that would be specific to the character themselves. If someone is retrieving handwaved information from Morningstar, we are happy to let someone else assume that (though non-Morningstar members won't have the same access). We will always require someone to inform us that their character has joined Morningstar, and if we haven't received notice about someone's interest in joining, then any information from Morningstar about operations will remain inaccessible (unless another Morningstar member offers it to them).

2a. We're doing our best to make it so that one answer fits all. We don't want players to feel like they have to puzzle out different routes to find a conclusion, and would prefer that they feel like they can come up with a plot so that we can best serve them.

3. The best way to go about this would be for you to submit a plot engagement proposal about how to work with Morningstar to go about finding out this information! Morningstar has agents in place who are better equipped, but we don't want to block plot opportunities by having everything resolved by NPCs. If you have an idea, feel free to drop it on the plot engagement post! That said, there are limits to what characters can accomplish because of security concerns, confidentiality, and more. Our overall goal right now is to pace things so they can be discovered over a period of time.

4. Much like phones today when they're powered off, "disappeared" characters' messages would just go to a server to wait until someone responds. As such, calls or attempts at video chats would just remain unanswered, and show as a "missed call" upon that character's return.
