a. First, I think I asked a super similar question when I was apping this one in regards to the whole "case-by-case MMO OC" bit in the FAQ but Jongdae didn't qualify using a game canon because his presence in canon was completely separate from the canon questline experience. Would that also be true of a World of Warcraft OC? His backstory that occurs before the timeline of the game plot is of course entirely original just because the character is an elf and therefore would've been alive for a long time before the actual in-game plot begins but after a point the character would actually follow the storyline for the most part in line with the canon quests up until the canon point he'd be pulled from.
b. If it's a no to the first question, is there a rule as to how much an OC canon has to completely diverge to be acceptable as uniquely original? I ask because I also have an "original version" backstory/world information written up with all original names for things and events that have been somewhat re-structured a bit or very simplified to streamline it but it's still basically like.. re-skinned warcraft lite thematically lol because I still wanted similar major events to take place.
c. someone's probably asked this somewhere before but are apps and drops allowed in the same round or is there a waiting period?
